Chief Distraction Officer
Stella was born with an innate gift of contagious positivity and a determination to Do Good in her career and community at large. Upon completion of her higher education, which included AKC Star Puppy certification at the age of 4 months, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) at the age of 19 months, and AKC Community Canine (CGCA), Urban Canine Good Citizen + Trick Dog Intermediate all completed at 2-years of age, Stella was welcomed at AMS Fulfillment in the critical C-Level role of Chief Distraction Officer (CDO). Stella was also formerly trained as a therapy dog but chose the corporate path at the encouragement of her parents, Michelle and Jay Catlin.
As CDO at AMS, Stella purposely pulls away the attention of dedicated and hard-working AMS Fulfillment associates for brief intervals throughout the day, injecting an alternate form of fun and joy into their work lives which has proven via PowerBI reporting to bolster employee performance levels and key performance indicators (KPIs) for production efficiency, while also providing Stella with head scratches and tasty treats on occasion as well.
Speaking telepathically with Stella, she communicates, “It almost doesn’t feel like a job to me when I visit AMS. I understand that my role in the company is extremely important, but seriously, all I do is say hello, run, play, and dazzle Team members every now and then with my funky tricks.”
Always humble and grounded, Stella continues to shine in her role as CDO, while continuing to train during off hours with her mom and mentor, Michelle. Stella welcomed a new family member recently, her younger non-biological brother Archer. Asked telepathically how having a new brother has changed her life, Stella conveyed, “He’s literally a pain in my @ss with all of his roughhousing, but I appreciate his youthful spirit… keeps me on my toes!”
