Vice President of Product Management
Ken Shaw lives in the San Fernando Valley with his fiancée, four dogs (Barney, Pinot, Sam & Roxy), two cats (Roscoe and Lucy), two fish (unnamed), a bearded dragon (Rupert) and a tarantula named Bruce.
Ken was born and raised in Eagle Rock, California. He gained his BA in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University. Ken worked in CRM software in the insurance industry for ten years and as a Senior Project Manager for Kaiser Permanente and Walt Disney Imagineering Technology Studio. He has Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master and a Lean Six Sigma greenbelt certifications.
Ken joined AMS in 2012. He began working as an IT Project Manager where he served until 2017. Ken returned to AMS in 2020 as IT Support and Integration Program Manager. In September of 2022 he was promoted to serve in his position today, VP of Product Management (WAMS). He enjoys the problem-solving nature of his role at AMS and the new challenges that each client and each new integration brings.
Ken’s weekends are spent being what he describes as an “extremely mediocre rock climber,” with his most recent challenge being Devil’s Tower in Wyoming. In the past few years, he’s climbed in Mexico, Wyoming, Arizona, California, and Utah. When he spends time indoors, he can be found playing Dungeons and Dragons and other tabletop RPG games with his old friends, spending time with his girlfriend and playing lifeguard to his small army of dogs in the pool.
