Chief Operating Officer
Daniel Butera joined AMS as Chief Operating Officer in August of 2019, bringing 20+ years of experience with him in leading fulfillment and supply chain groups across the globe. Prior to joining AMS, Daniel most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Capacity LLC where, during his tenure, he contributed to tripling Capacity’s revenue by helping grow the client base, footprint, and throughput capabilities as a member of the executive team overseeing day to day and strategic operations.
Daniel holds a degree in Manufacturing Management from State University of New York FIT, as well as a certification in both finance and accounting from Villanova University. During his 20+ year career, he has held senior level positions with many prestigious brands such as City DKNY, Fendi North America, Swatch Group, Ralph Lauren, Winco, and Fab.com. He considers supply chain, manufacturing, transportation, fulfillment, client services, business development and logistics as his focus of expertise and has many years of experience operating large and medium scale multi-channel organizations through various stages of their life cycles. Well before any professional endeavors, Daniel was raised within the world of supply chain and manufacturing, working his way up through various family owned and operated businesses both domestically and abroad.
Daniel and his wife share a son, who is currently playing football in college back on the East Coast where he and his family originate from. As a first-generation American who is fluent in Italian, relaxing at home, exploring new hiking trails, and restaurants with his family top his list of favorite pastimes.
