Antonia M., Operations Associate II, Livingston, CA.
Hi! I’m Antonia.
I am an Operations Associate II at Livingston, and I have been with AMS since November 2021.
I feel humbly accomplished when I finish my work on time.
My mentors have been my previous and current supervisors who provide me with guidance and help me develop skills.
My most important goal is to be at work on time so I can take responsibility and finish on time.
The project that challenged me was working overtime in December, due to the high volume and need to get orders out to our customers.
If I could go back to the start of my career and give myself one piece of advice, it would be to not be afraid of taking on new challenges and to constantly learn.
If I could switch jobs with anyone at the company for a day, it would be with Rosa Q., because her job is unique.
Now Let’s Have a Little Fun
I am proud of my family heritage which includes cultural traditions rooted in respect, generosity, and perseverance.
One misconception I wish people better understood about a specific part of my identity is being introverted does not necessarily mean being shy or unsociable. I can be reserved in certain situations, but I still have a lot to offer.
A mantra that I follow is to learn and give my best in everything I do.
Coworkers would be surprised to know that I had 25 laying hens at home.
One of my greatest passions is traveling and exploring new cultures and mountains.
My favorite family recipe is tamales, passed down from generation to generation in my family, and includes mole and stuffed chiles.
My favorite hobby outside of work is doing sports.
If I were on a deserted island, the 3 items I would bring with me are a water filter, a knife, and a book.
Thank you, Antonia, for growing with AMS!
