on his nomination for the Los Angeles Business Journal’s
Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Award!
The Journal has planned two digital events surrounding the award, and both events are offered free of charge to all who register. Ken will participate in the first session on March 17th, taking part in a panel discussion featuring companies and individuals who have shown an exceptional commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Ken will be participating with four other nominees on a panel called “Master Class on Diversity, Inclusion & Equity.”
All 2021 nominees will be highlighted within the March 22nd edition of the LA Business Journal, with all finalists and winners featured in the March 29th edition.
We know that for years Ken has welcomed the challenges of managing a diverse work population. He has said, “Managing diversity is more than simply acknowledging differences in people, it is recognizing the value of the differences, combating prejudices and promoting inclusivity.” To ensure all leadership understands AMS’ core values, Ken has personally conducted leadership training on Diversity, Inclusion and Equity with AMS leadership.
We encourage you to register for the March 17th virtual event in order to enjoy the panel discussions, and also to cheer him on at the digital awards event on Wednesday, March 24th. He deserves it, and we are very proud that he is representing AMS!
