Holiday Shipping Deadlines
As we move into December and count the days until Christmas, we also remember to check the holiday shipping deadlines. We want to make sure our Christmas gifts can get where they need to go with the big question being… can I ship in time for Christmas?
In the graphs below we present the recommended postal deadlines for Christmas 2022. We see that the United States Postal Service suggests mailing first class mail by December 17th. AMS recommends that you take note of the Christmas shipping deadlines below and ship it two days earlier, by the 15th to be sure your package will arrive by the 25th, in time for the big day!
What is the last day to ship FedEx for Christmas? Well, let’s see… Below you’ll find the FedEx holiday cut off dates for 2022. As we can see, FedEx has more than a few choices. FedEx Home Delivery has to be shipped by the 14th – AMS says to ship it on the 12th.
Is Christmas Eve a business day for shipping? Yes it is, but the postal service is closed on Christmas day, so make your plans accordingly. Does UPS deliver on Christmas eve? Yes to Christmas eve delivery and no to Christmas day.
